About
Located at 1484 Halford Ave in Santa Clara, CA, The Bapsang is a Korean restaurant that has been gaining praise for its authentic and flavorful dishes. Offering a range of options from bossam and Stone Pork Short Rib to assorted intestine combo and beef dolsot bibimbap, this establishment truly brings the taste of Korea to your table.
One standout dish that has caught the attention of many patrons is the bossam. With incredibly tender pork belly that is well-seasoned and served in generous portions, this dish is a must-try for any pork lover. Pair it with some kimchi and pickled daikon for a balanced flavor experience.

“ I stumbled upon Bapsang while looking for something to satisfy my Korean food craving! As soon as I saw bossam on the menu, I knew I had to try it. The color, cut, and portion sizes were impressive, with generous servings of incredibly tender pork belly--the most tender I've ever had! There were definitely some fatty pieces but I personally love it! The meat was well-seasoned with no hint of "porky" smell. My only complaint was the napa cabbage. Traditionally, cabbage used for wrapping the pork is in a salty-sweet vinegar brine, but ours was just wilted cabbage and tasted quite bitter. I also would have liked more condiments to balance the abundance pork; the kimchi and pickled daikon weren't quite enough for me. For $48, though, it was well worth the price! Service was great, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes! ”
“ I saw a lot of videos of this restaurant and everyone got the Stone Pork Short Rib, so I had to come give it a try. Everything here was how I expected it to be. Good side dishes and simple menu. I went during lunch time, so it wasn't too crowded yet, but I would expect a large crowd during dinner times and weekends. Stone Pork Short Rib (3.8/5): Very similar to kalbijjim. Most of the ingredients are the same except the ribs. I had really high expectations for this, but I thought it was decent. The flavor was good, but the ribs were a bit tough. The meat doesn't fall off the bone, but that might be a preference thing for me. Pork Bone Soup (3.5/5): I thought the soup would be more flavorful. It tasted a bit watery and the meat didn't really have much flavor as well. I do think it is more of a cleanser for the meat dish, but I wish it had a bit more flavor. ”
“ Came by for early dinner. One other party was dining in. Staff were friendly. Ordered Assorted intestine combo with steam egg Beef dolsot bibimbap First came the ice water then the side dishes. After was the beef bibimbap and the assorted intestine combo. Since it wasn't busy the staff cooked the assorted intestine for us. Food was delicious, I loved the intestine combo. The steam egg tasted good too. We had leftovers and they sealed it for us. Bathroom was clean. ”
“ First up, the bossam: the flavor was outstanding! The tender meat paired perfectly with the accompanying sides, creating a delicious blend of tastes. However, I was a bit disappointed that there was nothing to keep the meat warm, which caused it to toughen and cool down too quickly. A small steamer or warmer would elevate this dish even more! As for the soondae sauté, it was good but not quite what I expected. Instead of a sauté, it came out more like a soup. While the flavors were still enjoyable, I would have preferred the dish to be prepared as described on the menu. Despite these minor hiccups, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more dishes. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving Korean food. ”
“ Ok... so eating Korean food in Korean town is new for me. I'm nervous for some reason about not knowing what to order or how to do the experience. But my love for Korean food beyond kbbq gave me the strength to start trying Korean restaurants and I have not been disappointed by The Bapsang! I've been here twice in a one week period and already thinking what I'm going to order next visit! The food quality and presentation is top notch! Service is very warm and welcoming as well. All of the food I ordered was literally delicious. Pro tip: The portions are of good size for the dishes that are over $35-$40. The person who took our order was so nice to warn us to make sure we didn't over order. Definitely come for a delicious Korean meal! ”
“ The Bapsang in Santa Clara is a must-visit if you're craving authentic Korean food. During our visit, the Cheese Pork Ribs stole the show--they were the highlight of the meal and quickly became a crowd favorite. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and the melted cheese added an indulgent touch that everyone at the table loved. We also tried the kimchi fried rice, which didn't disappoint. It had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess, making it another hit with our group. The Bossam was another standout dish, especially when paired with the savory pork sauce that came with it. The tender pork and flavorful sauce made for a satisfying combination. The service at The Bapsang was also very nice, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The place had a clean and organized vibe, which added to the overall positive experience. It's an excellent spot if you're looking to share delicious Korean dishes and enjoy drinks with friends. The portions are generous, the flavors are on point, and the atmosphere is perfect for a fun, communal dining experience. It's definitely a place I'd recommend and look forward to visiting again. ”
“ Place is not too crowded when we went on an early work day evening with plenty of parking outside. The inside is very spacious with lots of seating. Me and my friend got their combination gopchang to try. I personally only like the large intestine and this place has pretty good flavor. My friend also got the bibimbap which is pretty standard. I liked their steamed egg the most, it was super soft and fluffy. I would come here again to try their other dishes! ”
“ The Bapsang is one of my go-to's for sundubu/tofu soup is South Bay. Also had their beef noodles soup - so good! Service is always quick and friendly. Also one of, if not my favorite banchan. Seating is comfortable and nicely spaced - never too loud or crowded. Highly recommend for a weeknight Korean fix :) ”
“ My friend and I found Bapsang while looking to satisfy our Korean Cravings. We chose Bapsang based on the the ratings and some reviews. Neither of us had been here before. Medium size venue, not the most spacious of places, but not cramped either with a decent amount of spots for parking. The place was packed by the time we left. There were a good amount of Korean OG's eating here as well...generally a good sign. #Mukbang: ~ Ban Chan - 4/5 A good assortment of Ban Chan. Some of the dishes were very tasty, while others were OK. A nice balance. ~ Seafood Pancake - 4/5 A solid Seafood pancake with a good amount of Seafood in it. Not too Oily or mushy. I do like my Haemul-pajeon 해물파전 a bit on the crispier side tho... ~ Steamed Egg - 4/5 Very Good Steamed Egg. Also my first time trying the Korean Version. I'm a big Chawanmushi fan. ~ Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - 4.5/5 My first time trying a Korean Spicy Beef Noodle Soup...Brilliant! Just short of a perfect Bowl of Spic. Brilliant flavor without being overly Spicy with a decent amount of noodles and veggies. I do wish there was a bit more Beef in it... ~ Spicy Cold Noodle - 4/5 Another very good dish. I loooovvveee meself some Cold Noodles. This one was on point; just the right amount of Spicy and chill. Service was fine, we were well attended to...no issues, no dramas. We noticed a lot of the other tables getting a certain dish...so we had to inquire. According to our waiter it was the Soondae Sautae; Stir-Fried Intestines w/ veggies. This looked like the most popular dish. He also said it was excellent. My friend was a bit hesitant to try it. The dish was a good size and she wasn't to sure if she would like it. Pro Tip: Come with a bigger group or a very healthy appetite if you want to try the main / popular dishes. The portions are huge and are meant to be shared. The smaller dishes with individual size portions are very different. 건배 ”
